Ryan McNally is best known for his interpretative playing of traditional acoustic blues, jazz and old time music, while being influenced by Northern living: for the past 13 years McNally has called Whitehorse, YK his home.

McNally has become known for his diversity as a multi-instrumentalist. He plays guitar, harmonica, mandolin, violin and banjo, all in many different styles. Whether performing solo or with his band, his music is grounded in the legacy of the generations of players that came before him, while pushing his own signature sound as well. His latest EP focuses on solo blues/ragtime guitar music.

For this show, Vancouver-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer Joe Abbott will be joining on clarinet and guitar. He is an exciting and authentic new voice in Canadian folk and country who writes with wit, warmth, and uncanny humour, inspired by his years on the road with Petunia and the Vipers and the late, great bluesman Harpdog Brown. His background in jazz, blues and American roots music enhance and perfectly pair with McNally's singular sound.
